Ipswich Ladies vs Maidstone

Ipswich travelled to Dartford to take on Maidstone.

Ipswich had a shaky start to the first set which saw them chasing Maidstone for points. Emma Goosey won Ipswich some vital points with blocks and attacks. Ipswich fought back with strong defence from Jenny Ubasa and good serves from Otylia Miazga meaning Ipswich won the first set.

The second set started stronger for Ipswich with some clever attacks from Iza Karwacka and Ania Burejza. Gosia Loose set up some great attacks for Zoe Verow and the Ipswich side won the set convincingly.

Kasia Plesnar started the third set with some strong serves and the ladies worked hard as a team to win the third set and take the game. Ania Burejza was awarded MVP for the match.

The Ipswich side have a home game Sunday 3rd March and are hoping for another good crowd for their game against Portsmouth, all welcome for first serve at 12:30, Northgate Sports Centre.
